Fish Trade

Norway is one of the largest fish exporters in the world. The Norwegian border with the sea is about 2.650 km long. Since the coast has many fjords, islands and bays, it has been calculated that the Norwegian coast is over 25.000km long. Much of the wealth in Norway is linked to the long coastline, for example, oil, sea transport, fishing and fish farming.

Norway export approx. 3 mill tonnes of fish per year. The diversity of different species is probably the richest in the world.

Overseas AS, Business field is exporting salmon fish from Norway.

Egypt and the Gulf region are one of our areas of focus, as we have now entered into a cooperation agreement with a number of companies working in the field of fish trade in the Middle East.
